GOD

We believe in one God, manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  He is creator of all things and sovereign over the same.  He is eternal, self-existent, holy, omnipotent (all powerful), omnipresent (all present), and omniscient (all knowing).

 

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus is God the Son; that on earth He was born of a virgin by the Holy Ghost.  He was both God and man - the perfect, sinless God Man.  His death, burial, and resurrection provided for the atonement of all mankind.

 

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in His person, that He is God; that His ministry is to lift up the name and work of Jesus Christ; that He never exalts Himself; and by the Word of God He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment.  He also regenerates, sanctifies, indwells, seals, empowers, guides, teaches and comforts the saved.  We do not believe, nor agree with the modern day tongue speaking movement.

 

CREATION

We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24 hour periods.  We reject Evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.

 

SIN

We Believe that sin is any transgression against the divine will of God in all matters, that all men are sinners by nature; that sin brought death and eternal separation from God, and that it condemns us to a fiery hell.

 

SALVATION

We believe that all men are lost and need a Savior.  We believe that salvation, made possible through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ is wholly of grace, through repentance and faith, without any mixture of works whatsoever.  We believe the offer of salvation is to "whosoever will" and is not limited to just an elect few.  We teach that saved believers are preserved and secure eternally.

 

SCRIPTURES

We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God; that these Scriptures are inerrant and infallible.  The Bible is our final rule of faith and practice.  We believe in the providential preservation of the Word of God, and believe the King James Bible is that Word for English speaking people and therefore use it exclusively in our teaching and preaching.  We do not recommend any of the other modern versions of the Bible.  With the Bible as our standard, we stand opposed to unscriptural movements such as the Charismatic movement, the Ecumenical movement, and any other movement whose beliefs are contrary to Bible doctrine.

 

CHURCH

We believe a scriptural church is a local, visible assembly of baptized believers and reject the suggestion that the church is universal, invisible and includes all saved believers.  We believe that Jesus Christ founded His church during His personal ministry here on earth before Pentecost, that the Commission to evangelize the world was given by Jesus Christ in person to His church and the church alone as an institution; and that He promised the perpetuity of His churches from the days of Christ till now.  We believe each church is an independent, self-governing body, and no other hierarchy of individuals or an organization may exercise authority over it.  We believe and practice church discipline with the intent of awakening and restoring wayward church members.

 

ORDINANCES

We believe the ordinances of Believers Baptism by immersion, and the Lord's Supper were given by the Lord Jesus to His churches, and they alone have the authority to conduct them.  Our church receives only Baptist baptisms and we practice Restricted (Closed) Communion, meaning...  the Lord's Supper is partaken by only the members of that particular church.

 

SECOND COMMING

We believe that Jesus is coming back literally, bodily for all the saved both dead and living.  There will be a bodily resurrection of saved believers to meet the Lord in the air.  This will take place before the 7 yr. Tribulation.  At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with saved believers, to establish His earthly Kingdom of 1,000 years. Following this will be the Great White Throne Judgment for all unbelievers and eternity with Christ for all the saved of all ages!
